Our SKE (Subject Knowledge Enhancement) Spanish courses are funded by the NCTL (National College for Teaching and Leadership). You can get 100% funding of course fees plus a bursary for covering part of your own expenses.

However, The Spanish Course doesn’t get involved with requesting funding from NCTL.

Before applying to our SKE Spanish courses the applicant must have applied for and discussed the offer of a place on an ITT (Initial Teacher Training) programme to QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). The need for SKE should be identified by the ITT provider and not the trainee nor The Spanish Course.

Once you tell your ITT provider you have chosen The Spanish Course as your SKE provider, the ITT provider will contact The Spanish Course to discuss course fee’s prior to requesting funding from NCTL. The ITT provider is responsible for administering the funds.

Therefore, it is important that you contact your ITT provider regarding funding for The Spanish Course SKE courses.
